This Panda activity set was created in Boardmaker Plus for a student who was really interested in Pandas. It contains some early literacy tasks, including a simple book, a book of facts, an onset rime activity and a quiz about the information contained in the book of facts. Please feel free to download and use this activity – and also to share it with others.
The Panda photos were taken of the Giant Pandas at Ocean Park in Hong Kong in January 2009. The two Pandas which feature in the majority of the photos, sitting up and eating, are Le Le and Ying Ying.
They were both born in August 2005, although they are not related to each other. The Panda who is lying down is An An, a male born in 1986.
