Overview
Greg Alchin is a Inclusive Learning Technologies Consultant who provides professional advice, training and support, in the use of inbuilt accessibility software as well as specialised hardware and software. Greg assists people of all ages and all disability groups. Greg’s work has been recognised here in Australia as well as overseas for well over a decade. Some recent highlights include:
| 2005 | Inspired Teachers Scholarship for Visual Learning – Greg was selected by Inspiration Software as one of 30 educators worldwide for his ongoing work in the area of graphical organisers and visual learning. |
| 2004 | NSW Computer Education Group Medal – Greg was awarded this prestigious medal by this professional teachers association in recognition of his long-term work in promoting the ethical and appropriate use of technology in education. |
| 2002 | Apple Educator of Excellence – Greg was selected by Apple for this award in recognition of his work on the use of digital video as a cross curricula tool. |
Services and Schedule of Fees
- Consultancy: $120/hr (pro rata)
- Report Writing: $120/hr (or part thereof) for written reports for consultancy work
- Presentations/Demonstrations: $120/hr (pro rata) (Half-full-day seminars negotable dependent on preparation)
- Software Training and Support: $120/hr (eg. installation, maximising use of resources, customising)
- Travel: $60/hr, travel time also applies to all of the above (where applicable)
