Boardmaker, Boardmaker Plus!, Boardmaker Studio, Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro and Writing with Symbols 2000 all come supplied standard with 4,500+ PCS symbols. In the past few years, Addendum Library collections have been created in response to feedback from customers on useful symbols which were not included in the standard core set of symbols.

By adding in all of the symbols included in the 2000/2002/2004/2006/2008/2012 Addendum Bundle, you will have over 7,000 additional symbols to work with in your copy of Boardmaker!

Note: To make the most of the Symbolate feature in version 6 of the Boardmaker Family Software, you’ll need the 2000/2002/2004/2006/2008 or 2000/2002/2004/2006/2008/2012 PCS Addendum Library Bundle.

(Note: The 1998 Addendum symbols are already supplied with Boardmaker and Writing with Symbols 2000, but the 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008 Addendum symbols are not already included.)

Each Addendum:

  • Includes symbols not found in other Addendums
  • Comes with an installer which loads the symbols into Boardmaker and/or Writing with Symbols 2000
  • Contains new symbols in many categories – most of which have been requested by users
  • Comes with symbols translated into the languages that Boardmaker supports
  • Includes metafiles (allowing a symbol to be imported as a picture into other software applications)
  • Includes a printed picture index
  • Now works with Communicate: In Print 2 ANZ and Communicate: By Choice ANZ
