Multi-level phonics instruction for every student in your classroom
Developed in collaboration with Dr Ted Hasselbring, Vanderbilt University, Simon Sounds It Out is the research-based phonics program designed to meet the needs of beginning readers.
In Simon S.I.O., students use a personal tutor to move at their own pace to systematically learn letter-sounds and word families. Students practise their learning and increase fluency by building new words, recalling learned words and reading controlled texts. Teachers can closely monitor student progress with built-in data collection.
