Archimedes includes a host of maths activities designed to help students develop basic maths skills, such as:

Archimedes is designed to lay the conceptual foundation for mathematics. Pre-numeric exercises such as counting, lining up rows and creating groups prepare students for calculations. - Address a range of student needs
Various activity types and six levels of difficulty allow educators or facilitators to adapt the program to individuals’ needs. The manual includes instructions for finding the right starting level for any student. User profiles can be used to set difficulty levels and track student performance. - Feedback
Students receive immediate feedback on correct or incorrect answers. An animated results screen at the end of a session displays a performance summary, demonstrating success and motivating further practice. Print this screen for students to take home, or for student portfolios. - Accessibility
Archimedes offers multiple scanning modes for mouse, keyboard or external switches.
