The BASS Switch is a pressure sensitive switch and a simple press by the student causes an activation.

Big-Area Single Switches (BASS) feature a large surface, crisp auditory click feedback. Supplied with a white switch plate and five different adhesive colour overlays. Leave your switch white or choose to make it red, green, yellow, black or blue. Low-profile, the BASS is stable and extremely durable with a non-skid base. Use your favourite colour BASS switch on the floor or a tabletop or mount it.
