The layout of the included content has been modified to suit the screen, and to simplify navigation between communication pages and tools.   • Set your Xpress to automatically power on and remind you of an appointment or activity

Comprehensive Content – InterAACt

Communication is more meaningful when it happens naturally. InterAACt, the language framework of the DynaVox V and Vmax, supports natural communication for people of all ages and abilities. The familiar InterAACt content of the V and Vmax is featured on the Xpress, and has been optimised to complement the 5-inch screen of the Xpress. It gives you immediate access to the vocabulary you use every day, and helps you quickly find new vocabulary for unique situations. InterAACt content on the Xpress includes:

See more – more clearly. With the same type of touch screen as the iPhone and Blackberry Storm, the Xpress display is clearer and larger than that on other PDA-based communication devices, and can be easily navigated with your fingers or thumbs. The crisp touch screen:

Express Emotion

Emotions are an intrinsic part of meaningful communication. The Xpress features natural-sounding Australian Scansoft Voices Lee and Karen, AT&T Natural Voices and Loquendo voices for adults and Acapela voices for children and adults. The Loquendo adult voices support the use of inflection and emphasis, enabling you to convey emotions as you laugh, cry, shout or whisper. The Xpress features high-quality, front-firing speakers and an external volume control to help you communicate with clarity effortlessly.

NEW! In an effort to provide customers with the most robust set of voices, the English Voice Library DVD that ships with Xpress will add the following new voices: Tracy (US English, Female, Acapela), Alan (Australian English, Male, Loquendo), Grace (Australian English, Female, Loquendo). Existing customers may request the new voices from Technical Support.

Modify In No Time

The Xpress lets you personalise content with ease so that your device is a true extension of your voice and your personality. Customise your settings as you:

• Modify a button in seconds
• Create new content with easy drag-and-drop tools
• Import content from the internet or other sources

You can also create and customise your Xpress communication pages on your PC.

• Load the Xpress Design Software onto your computer
• Create and customise pages to suit your unique needs
• Import that individualised content back onto your Xpress

Your Xpress will withstand daily use when the unexpected inevitably happens. The Xpress incorporates:

• Battery options that include your choice of:
  • Two standard 3.5-hour swappable batteries with an external charger
