Author Ellen McPeek Glisan has created a thoroughly organised, easy-to-implement life skill program for transition students with mild to moderate disabilities. The goal of the 650 lessons is to instil a general awareness of an important life skill and each one can be completed in just five minutes.
Five categories of lessons align with the general curriculum:
- Math
- Social Studies
- Science/Health
- Expressive Literacy
- Receptive Literacy
For example, Assembling First Aid Kit and Making an Apology are linked to Social Studies. You can also select lessons by factors like learning style or life skill category.
