- In the activity Learning About Ancient Egypt, students not only read about life in Ancient Egypt in a variety of different areas, (i.e. fashion, food, citizens and slaves, homes, religion) but they also have the opportunity to write in hieroglyphics, complete different exercises or puzzles as well as write about their new found knowledge using Clicker Writer.
- When the student clicks on the read the book, they are presented with two levels to choose from. Level 1 is more concise and easier to read. Level 2 is more complex and has more complicated vocabulary.
- After reading about Grecian fashion, one of the activities within this study unit asks children to first dress a Grecian Soldier by selecting different items from a pop-up menu.
- In a secondary follow-on activity students are then asked to label different clothing items as a part of the Grecian study unit.
