Geography and Time for your early learners!

Trudy’s Time and Place House is the place to be! In five adventurous activities students explore geography and time with Trudy’s whimsical friends – Analogue Ann, Digital Dan, Joe Crow, and Nellie the Elephant. In Trudy’s house, students build time-telling skills and explore the concept of time by controlling an animated movie. Trudy also helps bring geography closer to home as students develop mapping and direction skills and “travel” the world learning about continents, oceans, and major landmarks.

  Meet Analog Ann and Digital Dan. You’ll learn to tell time on both kinds of clocks.

  Learn about units of time as you move forward or backward in an animated movie by seconds, minutes, hours, days, and even months.

  Learn relative and cardinal directions by directing a hungry ant left, right, and forward-or north, south, east and west.
  
• Master Map Symbols
  Place symbols on a sandbox map and watch hills, roads, lakes and cities grow before your eyes. Combine symbols to make railroad tunnels, bridges over rivers and towns on mountains.
  
• Visit Stonehenge, Bangkok and the Congo!
  Blast off with Astro-mouse! Discover the relationship between the earth, a globe, and a world map. Take pictures of your favourite places to print and colour.

Trudy’s Time and Place House is available in two different versions:

• School/Educator version: enhanced package containing Teacher Resource Binders with a Teacher’s Guide, User’s Guide and Additional Resources. School licences may be used on stand-alone or networked computers.
  
• Home/Student version: contains one CD-ROM and a single user, single computer licence. Not upgradeable to multi-user.
